Take a closer look at four key plant families on the Sunshine Coast with Dr Hilary Pearl.
Discover how to identify currently flowering plants. Peek into the various components of each plant using magnifying glasses.
Learn how to create dry plants with a miniature plant press made from cardboard, paper towel and plants for drying. Attendees receive a work sheet and tips on how to access the Queensland Herbarium services as well as a native plant to take home.
Free. Registration essential. All materials supplied. Ages 16 and over.
