Transcribe is an exhibition of new work by award-winning Sunshine Coast artist Libby Derham, capturing birdsong in the landscape, transcribing it through layers of sound and movement mark-making.

Capturing Libby’s highly intuitive and expressive approach to painting, most work has been painted or begun ‘plein air’ and the exhibition of all watercolours highlights her talent as fourth generation in this medium. Viewers can also see Libby’s new video about her process during the exhibition. Transcribe is open in the Arts & Ecology Centre, Maroochy Regional Bushland Botanic Garden, Wednesdays through to Sundays 7th to the 29th January.

Before visiting please consider Queensland Covid-19 restrictions.
