Noosa Electric Vehicle Expo

hero.jpg

On the 21 March 2021, there’ll be a renewable buzz about the streets of Noosa Junction. The FREE community event is an introduction to e-vehicles and how they can provide more sustainable travel choices for Noosa locals and visitors.

The expo will showcase exciting electric transport options now available, including electric cars, e-bikes and e-scooters.  You will get the chance to speak with exhibitors, and get the first hand experience of electric car owners.  Trial rides on e-bikes and e-scooters will also be available.

About Us

Zero Emissions Noosa is a not-for-profit organisation with the goal of zero Noosa community greenhouse gas emissions by 2026.  Transport emissions represent 30% of Noosa Shire community emissions, and the Expo is a great opportunity to showcase the amazing changes taking place in the world of sustainable transport.

For the 2021 event, we are partnering with Noosa Council and the Noosa Junction Business Association, the 2021 event will be held in Noosa Junction.  Relocation of the event to a major tourism and commercial hub of Noosa is a great step forward, and will encourage an exciting mix between exhibitors, footpath cafes, and safe off-road trial rides of electric bikes and scooters.

Event History

We are grateful to the many exhibitors who have made our Noosa Electric Vehicle expos such a success!

The first Noosa EV Expo was held in 2018 as an initiative of Zero Emissions Noosa, a not for profit organisation committed to the goal of zero carbon community emissions in Noosa by 2026

A second larger event followed a year later and included a speaker’s program. The 2019 Noosa EV Expo featured the changing world of transport with electric vehicle options on show including cars, buses, motorcycles, scooters, e-bikes and boat motors.

The well attended event offered the opportunity to test ride e-bikes and e-scooters and speak to electric vehicle owners and suppliers.

The rapidly growing interest in electric transport has ensured large visitor numbers avid to find out more through person to person conversations.
